Show Colyar-Nestor ; Marriage Solemnized A lovely home wedding was that of Miss Helen Virginia Col-yar Col-yar and Elmo L. Nester, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Nester of Grace, Idaho, who took their 1 marriage vows at the home of j the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. f .1. H. Colyar of Copperton, Sun- j day evening. The Reverend Mcr- i edith Smith officiated. ' Mrs. Percival O. Perkins play ed Lohengrin's Wedding March. The ceremony was performed I before a background of peach i colored gladioli and sea lavender, j white and purple larkspur, pink j hibiscus and carnations j The bride, ( harming in a white marquisette gown with finger-tip veil and carrying a bouquet of gardenias, sweet peas and rosebuds, rose-buds, was given in marriage by her father. Matron of honor was her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Clark W. Zimmerman, who wore pink lace and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. Nieces of the bride, Miss Alberta Colyar, Miss Juanita Colyar, Col-yar, Miss Marzetta Colyar and Mrs. Justin Colyar, were bridesmaids brides-maids and were frocked in pastel ; gowns and carried bouquets of i rosebuds and sweet peas, i Mrs. Colyar wore lavcndar chiffon and a corsage of garden- i ias and roses. A wine crepe mod el and gardenia and rose corsage were worn by Mrs. Nester. Robert Colyar acted as best man. A reception for two hundred guests followed the ceremony. Receiving at the door were Mrs. L. C. Jones, Mrs. Ned De Groff and Mrs. Harold Beck. In charge of the gift room were Mrs. C. C. Colyar, Mrs. O. C. Jones, Mrs. I. Peterson and Mrs. J. P. Colyar. Serving were Miss Margaret Fehr, Miss Dorothy Rawlings, Miss Margaret Partner, Miss Virginia Vir-ginia Rushton, Mrs. Guy Niel-son, Niel-son, Mrs. Harold Kitterman, Miss Royco Barnett and Miss Ruth Taylor. A beautiful program of music during the reception included: Piano solo, "Liebeslied" by Fritz Kreislor, Miss Margaret Fehr; baritone solos, "Sensucht" and "rVcause", by Vernie C. Swenson, accompanied by Alice Williams; contralto solos by Agnes Ag-nes Hales accompanied by Edna Evans Johnson; tenor solo, 'Where Ere You Walk" by Handel, Han-del, Julian Willey; baritone solos by iS. Edgar Fernley accompanied accompan-ied by Wilva Coles; piano solo "Pavane" by Ravel, Afton Johnson;, John-son;, soprano solo, Virginia Rush-ton Rush-ton accompanied by Mrs. P. O. Perkins. The bride's going-away costume cos-tume was grey tweed with black, accessories. Upon return from twj week's honeymoon the couple, cou-ple, will be at home at 35 Canyon Road, Salt Lake City. |
