Show SPANISH ENVOY IS THREATENED Bf FIRST CHIEF Carranza Demands Surrender Surren-der of Angel Del Caso, Charged With Being Active for Villa. MINISTER MAY BE FORCED TO LEAVE Yaqui Indians Mutiny at Guaymas; Four Killed and 20 Wounded; All Foreigners Safe. WASHINGTON, Yeb. 4. General Carranza has called upon the Spanish-minister Spanish-minister at Mexico City, on threat of deportation, to surrender within twenty-four hours Angel Del Caso. a Spaniard, Span-iard, who claims to be an agent of the Spanish government, but whom Carranza Car-ranza charges with being active in the service of General Villa. This information informa-tion was received today in private telegrams from Mexico City, which state that Del Caso is supposed to be , hiding in the Spanish legation. ! The incident recalls General Car- i ranza's experience last September with the Belgian minister to Mexico, who, because of the severity of his representations repre-sentations concerning Belgian conces- , sions, was ordered deported, and, notwithstanding not-withstanding the intervention of American Consul Silliman and the Bra- r.ilian minister, was compelled to leave i the country. i Statement Issued. VThile Eliseo Arredondo. head of the Carranza agency here, declined to. discuss dis-cuss Del Caso's whereabouts, he issued a statement based on advices from j Mexii'o City as follows: ''General Alvaro Obregon has issued! an order for the arrest of Angel Del; Ca-?o. Del Caso is a man who has been j intimately connected wit h the Yiilista movement ever since its inception and at one time during the past year -went so far as to call himself Villa's personal per-sonal representative in Washington. 1). c.
