Spirit of Liberty chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will celebrate cele-brate the day with a card party and dance at the home of Mrs. Lee Charles Miller, on East First South street, tomorrow to-morrow evening. A short patriotic programme pro-gramme will also be given. The Bev. P. A. Simpkin will give an address in tribute to Washington; Miss Margaret Mar-garet Andrews will give a whistling solo, Frank Foster a tenor solo and Miss Jennie Sands a soprano eolo. The entertainment committee Is composed com-posed of Mrs. C. P. Overfield, Mrs. H. C. Gemmell and Mrs. L. C. Miller. The reception committee will consist of Mrs. J. E. Oglesby, regent of the chapter, chap-ter, Mrs. Miller, the vice regent, and Mrs. Overfield. The dramatic section of tho Ladies' Literary club has invited friends of the members to witness a farce and original monologue to be presented by the members mem-bers of the section at the clubhouse tomorrow to-morrow afternoon, beginning at 2:30. The monologue, written by Mrs. C. E. JJichards and Mrs. Morris L. Ritchie, will be given by Mrs. Richards as an or-ening for the programme. A special dance by Mrs. Harold Havesor will follow fol-low and then the farce, entitled, "Help. Help Two Weeks in the Life of a Club Woman," or "A Fantastic Farce Formed from Facts," by Mrs. E. B. Palmer, will be presented by nineteen members of the section. Admission will be only by cards of invitation. A large patriotic entertainment will be given by the members of the I'ni-'tarian I'ni-'tarian church tomorrow evening in the church parlors. Miscellaneous Events A group of the teachers of the Jack-sou Jack-sou school entertained the corps with a Valentine luncheon Monday afternoon. Carnations were combined with hearts and Cupids in the artistic decorations. The icen and candies also carried out the Valentine idea. The place cards were miniature mail boxes, each containing con-taining a tiny postcard bearing the guest 's fortune in rhyme.
