H The charges were filed witli Itichard P. Morris, street commissioner, who im- fiH mediately referred them to tho city at-torney at-torney for an opinion as to tho rights of tho citr in tho matter. Tho city attorney advised) hat tho licenses could, not bo re- fiH voked without u public hearing before the commission. Accordingly the street jjH commissioner informed the accused that thoy must appear before the commission next Thursda morniug to show cause why their liebnsca should not bo re- vokod. IH Ellerbeck, who is in charge of tho plumbing department during tho absence KH of Frank Moyle, plumbing inspector, who is confined to his home with typhoid fe- ver, said yesterday that many plumbers 8H had taken a defiant attitude toward the EH city's supervision and' regulation of IH plumbing work. Ho said that Waterfall jH and Anderson Brothers bad been par- ticularlv flagrant in their violations of IH tho ordinance and their defiance of in- fH structions. IH |
