Word haa been recolvcd here that thc project In oxpeeted to be a success and that tho onthusiawm for baseball base-ball In South America runs high. Manager Man-ager McGraw said recently that ll was the Idea of tho proniolera of the proposed pro-posed trip to ond the tour on tho Paclllc coast before tho closing of tho Panama, exposition in 1910. Tho latest suggestion for the tour Is to have tho two clubs, mud up of the star players of both leagues, play a few exhibition games in tho cast and Kouth after tho world's series and than go to Cuba, The Itinurary would then call for a brief visit to Panama, and from thcro to South America, playing In the leading cities on both sides of tho continent. The plan l to travel down tho east sldo und come north op tho west side of South America. Then a longer stay could bo made nt Panama, playing in all the principal places In tho canal zone, where the numerous Americans would welcome tho baseball teams.
