Tho branchj which is fourteen miles in length, was built for farmers to givo them an outlet for their product. The torritory it will servo is unusually rich and fertile, although only a short timo ago it was covered with sagobrush. Thero is a movement on foot to divide di-vide Millnrd county, and, according to Mr. Merrill, sentiment generally favors the proposition.
