On next Friday Hie Amalgamated Sugar company will make the first payment of the season for beets delivered to the four factories before the I first of the month. Approximately S17",-000 S17",-000 will bo paid to the farmers of Weber county, while the total amount to be distributed among the growers of the four factory districts will exceed 5000.000. According to tho figures furnished at tho company's local offices, tho apportionment appor-tionment will be as follows: Ogden factory, fac-tory, 5175,000. Logan factory. 5175.000; Lcwl3ton factory. $200,000: Burley factory, fac-tory, f.ri0,000. Comparatively few beets havo been dug slnco the first of tho month, owing to I he unfavorable weather wea-ther conditions.
