The coneert was given as the second number of the Weber academy lecture course. Previous to opening the regular programme. pro-gramme. Principal W. W. Henderson announced an-nounced Miss Eva Craguu and Lorenzo Richards as the winners of the sold watches In the ticket-selling contest.. The watches were presented by Professor Profes-sor Henderson, who acted as a judge, together with Superintendent John M. Mills of the city schools, and Principal Henry Peterson of the Ogden high school. The contest was open to students ol the. academy and high school. While the sale of season lecture course tickets was nor equal to the expeetajlons of the com-miUee. com-miUee. the results are gratifying. |
