Show PASSENGER CHARGES JOHN DOE WITH ROBBERY John Doc. who refused to give his name, was arrested by Conductor II. L. Thomas on the Bamberger train Monday morning, and turned over to the marshal at Bountiful. John Doc had picked the pocket of R. W. Ure. stealing a pocket-book pocket-book containing $7. and was in the act of throwing away the pocketbook when placed under arrest on the train. Ure discovered his loss anil remembered remem-bered that ho had been speaking to the stranger. lie pointed the alleged John Doe out to Conductor Thomas, who, assisted as-sisted by Brakeman Shcrkey. took tho $7 from the stranger and locked him In the bnggagc room until Bountiful was reached. Ure will sign the complaint charging John Doe with grand larceny. |
