Show ACCIDENTS NEAR MANTI; A YOUNG GIRL DIES Special to The Tribune. MANTI. Aug. 1. Glen Jensen, the 1S-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jensen, Jen-sen, who was with an- excursion party at Works sawmill, in Six-Mile canyon, was brought to Manti Saturday night by Foster Fos-ter Kenncr and Leo Munk with a broken arm and a dislocated shoulder. Glen was rJdlng about 3 o'clock in the afternoon after-noon and his horse became frightened of a sheepskin, throwing him off nnd breaking break-ing his arm just above the elbow, putting put-ting Ihe elbow out of place and dislocating dislocat-ing his shoulder. Ills arm was so swollen swol-len when he reached here that the doctors doc-tors could not set It until morning. It was packed in Ice, and he was put under the Influence of morphine and chloroform chloro-form until after it was set. Dr. Olsten and Dr. Sears were In attendance. Glen Is suffering a great deal and the doctors think he will havo a stiff arm. Dr. Nelson sot the broken limb She Is resting nicely. Naomi Jacobson. the ten-vear-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Jacobson. who has been suffering with Inflammatory Inflamma-tory rheumatism for some months, died Friday, and was burled yesterdav from the tabernacle at l o'clock. Beautiful flowers were brought bv her many playmates play-mates and school friends. |
