Show AVIATOR HAMILTON WINS FIRST ROUND NEW YORK, Adg. 1. The national council of the Aero Club of America, which met today to consider the protest of Charles M. Hamilton against Glenn II. Curtlss. announced tonight that a resolution resolu-tion had been adopted denying the saiu-llon saiu-llon of the club to any aviation meet not open to all qualified and licensed aviators. avia-tors. Although no mention Is made of Mther Curtlss or Hamilton, the resolution Is generally Intfrpreted as a dliecl slap at Curtlss. In his protest Hamilton charged that representations made by Curtlss to the management of the-coming llamml aviation meet has caused the management manage-ment lo refuse his entry. In effect the national council now rules that unless Hamilton's culr.v is accepted the Harvard aviation meet will not be sanctioned and the records made there will not be considered official. |
