Tho decorations throughout f the house were beautiful In tho extreme. t, American beauty roses being used In the i ' parlors and library. In the dining room tho color scheme of pink and while was prettily carried out. The table had for , Its attractive ecntor-plcce a large mirror upon which was placed an Immense cut i glass bowl lllled with pink sweet peas. ' - The lights were all shaded In pink, which , cast a dainty light over all. From tho ! ' chandelier to the four corners of the ' table were extended streamers of broad pink satin ribbon. Tho brides woro charmingly gowned in white mcssallne. trimmed with duchess lace, and carried a shower bouquet of hrldo'n roses. Punch wa served in the library from a tabic ' decorated with a largo vase of roses. There Is a pretty touch of romance con- nected with the double wedding. In 1003 the Misses Parker went to Oneida county, Ida., and took up some land. "While thcro. they met the two young men, who also had taken up some land, and a friendship was formed, which quickly ripened into love.
