junior guardian of camp 20 told of the proceedings though his memory was deficient as to details he said the demand tor a report of the bilal committee grew out of statement to the effect that ho heard a report of the committee read in the camp of which cronin was a member by cronin himself this statement by the way ia in contradiction of the evidence on th 8 subject heretofore given and oe all published statements which ham agreed in saying oconnor did not mention creain s name the cross examination of kelloy brought out the fact that although he knew of the trial of the triangle ho did not know who constituted that body until their names were published in the newspapers anthony J ford past guardian of camp 20 testified that at a meeting of the camp february patrick mcgary and bichard powers made a speech denouncing the triangle and that senior guardian beggs replied defending alexander sullivan oue of tho triangle members it was a very warm discussion and beggs said it calleran had gone to beggal office in january and once in february witness said they went there to secure begoss aid in getting work the fact that there is a division of interests in the defense in the cronin case and that senior guardian beggs is having his case conducted independently of the others was shown today to day when formost For rost on behalf of the defendants objected to the admission of OC onnora testimony mr forrest counsel for beggs said on the batters lat behalf he wanted the record to show that no objection is made on his part to the introduction of this he invites
