D. Edmonds of American Fork. Mrs. Monroe Paxman entertained tho members of the Priscilla club at her homo on Thursday evening. A. L. Woodhouse of Salt Lake was a Provo visitor on Monda3 Miss Hattie Snow entertained at dinner Sunday in honor of Bert Choules and Mrs. Mary Pohlman. Whito roses and carnations were the tablo decorations, decora-tions, and covers were laid for twelve. Mrs. Henry Geaso was the charming hostess of a wbist party at her home on Tuesday evening in lionor of Miss ' Catherine Geaso, who will leavo this week for tho East. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sutton entertained at dinner on Wedncsda3' in honor of Le3rlaud Graham of Salt Lake. The engagement of Miss Hattib Snow and Jessie McCullough has been announced, the marriage to take place j in August. I Dr. George E. Robinson and Thomas Pierpont entertaiined somo friends on a cruising and fishing trip on Utah lako on Tuesday. Those present from Snlt Lake were George Emcr3 J. E. Meyers, Sheriff Emery and United Slates Marshal Mar-shal Spr3'. Miss Eva Railc and Leo Warner were visitors in American Fork on Sunday. A delightful social and dancing part3 was given on Tuesday evening in tho Second ward meeting house in honor of C. Asael Dahlquist, who will leave on July 24 for Sweden. About seventy guests, were present. Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Winter of Ogden Og-den aro visiting in Provo with Mrs. Winter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Twelves. Miss Anna Sharp of Lehi is the guest of Miss Grace Paxman this week. Mrs. Electa Bullock was pleasantly surprised Thursda3 afternoon at the Sixth ward meeting house. The affair was given in honor of Mrs. Bullock's seventy-fourth birthday. About fifty woro present. Mrs. Wilford McKendrick of Ogden is visiting in Provo this week with relatives rel-atives and friends. Mrs. O. W. Bailey entertained on Tuesday afternoon in honor of Miss Zina Dunn of Pleasant Grovo. Cut flowers wcro profusely used in decorating, deco-rating, and covers wero laid for thirty. The fifth ward missionary committee gave an entertainment in the ward amusement hall on Wednesday evening in honor m of Frank Jenson. who will leave soon for a mission in Scandinavia, and Lyrum S. Vance, who recently returned re-turned from a mission to Michigan. Boating on Provo l-ivcr is becoming a very popular amusement. Messrs. Thomas,' Eugone Fletcher and Bert Thurman, with their families, spent Wednesday afternoon and evening even-ing at Camp Riverside.
