Show MAY SET FUND ASIDE ' TO ASSIST LABORERS WASHINGTON. Feb. 7. An official of the bureau of Information of the department depart-ment of commorce and labor said today that within tho last ten weeks fully fifteen fif-teen thousand laborers could have been sent out to different parts of the country If they had had the meanB of travel. Thousands of applications are being received re-ceived for work from tho unemployed. Ono suggestion that has been put forth Is that some of the fund be set aside by congress for the division In transporting transport-ing laborers, with the understanding that tho money should bo repaid. |
