sutherland dodd have plotted certain land near alie depot and have laid it off into building lots in conflict with the order of streets agreed upon by the city the petitioners petition ers prayed the council to take action on the matter referred to committee on streets and alleys the petition of james E snow and other taxpayers praying council to amend section 8 of an ordinance passed to provide provo city with water was presented by alderman brown it asks that the number of hours constituting a days work be reduced from ten to on motion of alderman brown the petition waa granted mr geo sutherland presented for the councils approval a plat of the south side addition located by himself and mr dodd mr sutherland also spoke in defense of their legal rights to cut up and lay off their
