C In a remarkably remarka-bly run race, Jack Atklnf, carrying 132 pounds, easily won the San Marlngo handicap of live and a half furlongs at Santa Anita Park today. Ho was a 7 to 20 favorite and his victory stamped him as tho hcet sprinter in tho west. The favorito was so full of run that Powers was unablo to hold him, and when the field ctraightened out In tho strotch. he was iu front, and won easily by three-fourths three-fourths of a length from Waterbury. with Fern L third.
