Becoming enraged at the nbsence of her husband, Mrs. Frank Yanerl, a white woman, started out on a hunt, armed with a Browning automatic revolver, with tho expressed Intention of shooting her Japanese husband hus-band on first sight, Sho was met on lower Twenty-fifth pLreet by Patrolman Leaver, who attempted to place her under un-der arrest. The woman resisted tho officer and attempted at-tempted to use her pistol. Sho was finally final-ly subdued, however, and tnken to the police station. On tho way to the station sta-tion her husband and another .lap, 0. Hlt-avamn, attempted to rescuo tho woman, wo-man, Tho two Japs wei-o arrested along with tho woman, and arc booked on tho charge of resisting an officer. |
