Arrangements for the banquet to be given giv-en by thc representative men of Salt Lake at the Cullon hotel Saturday night In honor of former Senator Fred T. Dubois Du-bois of Idaho have been practically completed com-pleted and assur an affair which from a social standpoint as well as on account of Its political significance promises to oc!lp3e anything o fthe sort ever given in Salt Lake. It Is intended to make thc affair especially select and tho number of invitations haa been restricted to U00. Thc most prominent men of Utah and Idaho will be present and will respond to numerous toasts. Formor Governor George A. Black will bo thc toastmaoter. Among the other speakers will be former Senator Sen-ator Frank Cannon, Mayor John S. Brans-ford. Brans-ford. Thomas Weir, Thomas Lipman and David Dunbar. Thc banquet hall of the Cullen will be decorated with American Beauty joecs and carnations and the walls of the room aud tho table will bo draped with the National Na-tional colors. I Senator Dubois, who will arrive In thc city Friday night or Saturday morning, will be accompanied by a large party of friends from Idaho and especially from Boise.
