Only two more gaps now oxjst in tho track between horo and Salt Lako City Ono gap Is where the Donver & IUo Orando crossing is bolng constructed con-structed north of Lohi and tho othor Is tho trestle across tho Biigar factory fact-ory pond Just west of horo. Tho trestle has boon flnishod and tho steel will bo laid on It at once. Work on tho Rio Grand crossing is also pro-gesslng pro-gesslng favorably and Is near an end. Bccent material receipts at Salt Lako yards of tho "company include wlro and poles for tho electrification of tho lino and tho othor equipment is on tho way Tho work Just completed and being comploted comprises tho most dlfll- Icult work on, tho ontlro lino. Long ago the Iron brldgo spanning tho Provo River was completed and tho rails laid from Provo to Provo Boncl', so that tho last big Job to be completed Is tho vlduct under tho U. & R. Q. tracks three tnllqs. north of Lehl. There is now employed at this point a forco of carpenters bulidlng forms and a' big gang of men and teams mixing and pouring concrete forming tho cement tunnel under tho D. & R. o. This pioco of work will be completod In about threo weeks and Is tho last impedement nrevent. Ing-tho hauling of ballast this way. About 8000 tons of cement and gravel will havo been used In Its construction. construc-tion. Hero also Is located ono of tho heaviest grades on tho road, The Salt Lako RoutOj branch crossos under un-der tho D. & R. o..
