Rothschild I I on Thursday There were several Ole leant nnt dinner parties including those I I I j given by Mr und Mrs S V Trent Mr j and Mrs James T Clasbey Will hall and Mrs Edward Parsons Mrs Downey 1 Dow-ney was hostess at an altogether charming charm-ing luncheon for Mrs Davis Mrs A T Moon entertained for her mother Mrs Finch and Mrs Edward S Ferry and Mrs W Montague Ferry gave a beautiful n 1 beauti-ful luncheon at the Country club on Friday + Fri-day for Miss Edith Ferry Numcious I I smaller events of an informal nature with an endless number of lake parties I made the week were seated at one large table ta-ble beautifully decorated with pink and white sweet peas and carnations A largo vase filled with the carnations stood In the center surrounded by clusters clus-ters of sweet peas with ferns and vines making a pretty mound surrounding the whole At either end of the table were vases holding clusters of the sweet pens while ferns were scattered over the cloth The place cards bore simply the monogram of the guest of honor and the guests name The following friends of Mrs Davis enjoyed the altogether delightful de-lightful event Miss Nabon Mrs David Da-vid R Gray Donnellan A Charming Luncheon Perfect in all its appointments was the luncheon given for Miss Edith Ferry Fer-ry at the Country club on Friday by Mrs Edward S Ferry I and Mrs W Montague Ferry White sweet peas with maidenhair ferns and plumosa fanned the very boautlful decorations of the two long tables which were placed on the porch Dainty fans of green and white were the souvenirs Xpund at the good and the cool breezes blowing in from the canyons can-yons made dancing altogether delightful delight-ful The hostesscH of the evening were Mrs Hepburn and Mrs i Potter I and they were assisted by Dr Hepburn and Lieut Farrar About 150 guests attended attend-ed the hop At the Country Club The Country club was yesterday afternoon af-ternoon the rendezvous for many members mem-bers of society who
