Show I Danish Brotherhood at Salt Palace I It was Scandinavian day at the Salt I 1 Palace yesterday whore the attendance I was about 1000 during the day and I evening The regular programme was carried out In the evening and It proved an Interesting one The double I qunrtftto of the Danish Brotherhood opened wltn two fine selections In the Salt Palace the vocalists being W W Micron James Tonnesen Hans Johan I sen Julius Johansen P Peterson P R Johansen Michael Sorcnson and P W KJnr The singers were followed by a Swedish minuet danced by twelve little girls aged about 12 and there were also violin solos by Miss Flora Joh risen a recitation by W W Nlol son and an address by O P Olson president of the Danish brotheihood on the nature fend benefits of the order which now number ninetytwo In this city Then came an amusing pantomime panto-mime In the large tent the performers being P H Johansen P W KJnr and W W Nlelnon who were also the committee com-mittee of arrangements for the day The evening was concluded by a dance In the Salt Palace The profits of the occasion go to the Danish brotherhood |
