Show BABYS SAD DEATH SON OF LIETJT AND 1IRS PAL1I EB DIES IN OREGON Mother Bringing it Home Father Who Had Never Seen the Son Fighting for His Country The many friends of Lieut and Mrs Guy Palmer will deeply sympathize with them In the death of their baby son Guy eight months old The sad news reached Mrs Palmers relatives here that the little one passed away Sunday evening at Flavel Or and that sho Is on her Journey home with the body The baby had been ailing for some time and two weeks ago the mother went to Portland on the advice ad-vice of her physicians From Portland she went to Flavel opposite Astoria but the little one did not Improve and finally passed away Sidney K Hooper brother of Mrs Palmer left last evening to meet his sister at Wciser this afternoon and they will arrive here tomorrow morning at 005 a m when the family and friends will meet them and the funeral party will proceed to tho city cemetery where the services will be conducted by Dean Eddie of St Marks cathedral The father is a young ofllcer of the Sixteenth United States Infantry serv InS his country in the Philippines and what Is most sad he had never seen the little son who was born after he had sailed to the Orient All their many friends will extend heartfelt sympathy to the young wife and mother and the father across the ocean in this their greatest sorrow |
