Show DELEGATES ARE CHOSEN Republican Selections for the Judicial Convention I MUCH INTEREST MANIFESTED c Jdnjorifcy o r Salt Lake Delegates areS are-S Said t Favor D C Eichnor for the Attorneyship With Parley P Christensen Second Judicial Aspirants As-pirants Have IHany Friends andS and-S Contest Promises t be Full of Interest terest Sandy Primaries Postponed Until Wednesday Primaries were held in Salt Lake Summit and Tooele counties last evening S even-ing for the selection of delegates to the Third District judicial convention which will meet In Salt Lake on Saturday Satur-day next to place in nomination three candidates for the bench and one candidate 1 can-didate for District Attorney In the city live meetings were held S In the five precincts and although much active work was being done by I the friends of the various aspirants the meetings w ere all harmonious The attendance was good and business was transacted with a vim In the first precinct the delegates are said to be practically unanimous for D C EIchnor although friends of Parley S P Christensen claim that their man will have a following when the proper time comes C W Morse and George 5 F Goodwin are the Judicial favorites with the third man yet to be decided S upon The second precinct delegates are said to favor Eichnor first Christensen second sec-ond and Crltchlow third for the Attor ncyshlp nomination For the judicial I ticket they are for Morse and Wenger for two of the nominations while Ritchie Loofbourow and T D Lewis S each exhibit strength for the third place The Third precinct delegation declined to announce Its choice and the Fourth insisted that It had no choice for the S Attorneyshlp The Fourth however Js S said to be solid for Ritchie and Morse with no third choice v In the IJfth the delegation Is claimed I 1 I by Elchnors friends while Wemjer and 1 Venser Morse are favored for two of the judicial Ju-dicial nominations with Bishop Lewis i or Ritchie for third place S J |
