Show Woodruff Family Readies Reunion The Wilford Woodruff Family Reunion will be held at the Pioneer Pio-neer Village on May 4, 1962, Salt Lake City. Pioneer Village is located on 27th South and Connor Con-nor Street (2150 East). Horace Sorensen, founder and director of the Pioneer Village, will conduct a tour of the village starting at 6 p.m. The group will enjoy seeing the wonderful collection of early pioneer relics and buildings which make it so popular with the thousands of people who have seen it. After the tour, the group will meet in the Sons of Utah Pioneers' Pio-neers' Administration Building for an evening's entertainment. Bob Daynes will give a short talk on Wilford Woodruff's great success suc-cess in converting so many people peo-ple to the Church in England. He will show pictures taken at the John Benbow farm and its surroundings in Herefordshire, England, where over 1800 people were converted to the Church in a period of seven months. Pres. Alex P. Anderson, recently re-cently returned from the New Zealand Mission, will talk to us about his experiences in that country. Dinner will follow the meeting. meet-ing. Each family is requested to bring their own food. There are plenty of tables and. chairs for about 150 people. Soft drinks and ice cream will be furnished. Horace Sorensen would appreciate appre-ciate any gift of pictures, clothing, cloth-ing, furniture or other relic related re-lated to the life of Wilford Woodruff Wood-ruff for Pioneer Village. |
