Show Benson Takes Post With Food Company Ezra Taft Benson, Secretary of Agriculture throughout the entire Eisenhower administration, administra-tion, has been elected to the board of directors of Corn Products Prod-ucts Company, it was announced this week by William T. Brady, chairman. He, will assume his directorship at the conclusion of his official government duties. "Mr. Benson is one of the world's most respected authorities authori-ties on agriculture," said Mr. Brady. "Because of his vast and intimate knowledge, his counsel will be of great value to Corn Products Company as we continue con-tinue to expand our services around the world." In commenting on his appointment, appoint-ment, Mr. Benson said, "This new opportunity will enable me to continue my efforts to improve im-prove nutritional standards for people everywhere, and to expand ex-pand markets for farm products throughout the world in associa- . tion with one of the world's leading lead-ing food manufacturers." Born and reared on a farm in Franklin County, Idaho Mr. Benson Ben-son owned and operated a farm there in partnership with his brother. A graduate of Brigham j Young University, Mr. Benson later specialized in agricultural j economics and marketing at Iowa State University and did post- graduate work at the University of California. He was a county agent in the University of Idaho extension service and later became be-came extension economist and marketing specialist in Idaho. |
