Show TV-Radio Magazine Features S. L Choir The Salt Lake Tabernacle choir and organ radio program, now in its 29th year of weekly national na-tional broadcasting, is featured in the February issue of TV-Radio TV-Radio Mirror, now on sale. The occasion is the program's 25th anniversary with the Columbia Broadcasting System. One double page spread shows the choir and organ and the staff program producer and commentator commen-tator Richard L. Evans, choir director di-rector Richard P. Condie and organists or-ganists Alexander Schreiner and Frank Asper. A second double spread shows a day in the life of Mr. and Mrs. Ctecar Hendriksen of Granger, both members of the choir. They are pictured with their children, at their daily work and at choir rehearsal. The Hendriksens are typical, the accompanying article states, of the 375 men and women "who reverently sing praises of the Lord and devote many hours each week to ensure for the Sunday Sun-day broadcasts the superb musical mu-sical quality which has made the Tabernacle Choir world famous." |
