Show Truck Firm Honors Pair of Drivers Two line drivers for Ringsby Truck Lines, Inc., Dean Dishion, 58 West 3rd North, and Mayo G. Thornton, 711 6th Avenue, were cited for outstanding courtesy on the highway at a recent safety meeting at the Salt Lake City terminal. Dorman Dimmitt, terminal manager, said the two drivers won high acclaim from an official offi-cial of the Menninger foundation as "two of the finest men I have met." Stranded by engine failure on a desolate stretch of road by Wendover, Nevada, the official, ' James F. Pratt, Menninger director di-rector of adjunctive therapy was towed 50 miles to the nearest near-est garage by the men. In a grateful letter to the president of the Denver-based truck line, Pratt said "your men and trucking company are to be congratulated for this efficient response to a helpless motorist." Both drivers have scored accident-free records since their employment by Ringsby. |
