Show AMONG THE RAILROADS." K. T. Coiuutanderies Coming Other Notes of Interest. ' The-conclave of Knights Templar la to be held at Denver commencing August 9th and willjast until the 12th. Both before and after the conclave different conimanderies and clubs as well as many Knights Templar traveling unattached will visit Sau Francisco. Fran-cisco. The itineraries of those organizations organiza-tions have already been issued in book form. The pilgrimage of the Mary Conimaudery, No. 3fl, Knights Templar, commenced on July 15tb, leaving Philadelphia on that date and traveling via Columbus, O.. Jefferson City, Mo., Kansas City, Las Vega; San Bernardino and San Diego to Sauta Monica, which will be reached on July 25th. Special stops of from an hour to a day wilt he made on the way at tho different cities and on July 31st San Francisco will be reached. The knights will sojourn there until the evening of August 2d, when they will start east via Ogden, visiting Salt Lake and theu traveling over the Rio Graude Western through Marshall's pas to Denver to attend the conclave and reaching Philadelphia Phila-delphia auaiu on August 15. In this party there wilt be about seventy-five people. The Denver club of Knights Templar left Philadelphia, 125 strong, on July 13, and is traveling via Pittsburg to Chicago and St. Paul; then over the Northern Paeific it will go into the Yellowstone park, remaining there six days, that is to 6ay, until July 18. i I Spokane, Tacoma and Portland will be sul-sepuently sul-sepuently visited, and on July 31, that is to say, on the same day that Mary commandery arrives from the south, the Denver club will reach San Francisco from the north. The latter orgauization will leave a day earlier, however, and will travel via Sait Lake to Denver. After the conclave the club willre-turn willre-turn home over the Pennsylvania lines. The chief officers of the club are: Joseph S. Wright, president; Joshua Evans, vice-president; N. F. Lightner, secretary, and F. Lei-brandt. Lei-brandt. treasurer. A third organization will make its pleasure tour after the business of the conclave, is over. Joliet Commaudery No. 4, Kuijrnts Templar, will leave Denver August 12th, having left Joliet on the Sth and traveled' direct to the city of the conclave. Once started on the tour the commandery will visit Pike's peak, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake und San Franc'sco on August ISth, remaining remain-ing here three days aud then going to Port-laud, Port-laud, Puget Sound, Seattie and remaining tn Yellowstone Park until September 3d, after which the journey home will be made." The commandery is officered by Sir Fred C. Wilcox, Wil-cox, eminent commander. |
