Show JTROM X AT V 11 AL CAUSES. I.. It, Sharp's Death Caused by a Blood Clot in the Heart. An inquest was held on the remains of L. R.- Sharp, who was found dead in the road yesterday morning near his residence on Tenth South street. A number of witnesses were examined, and the testimony all went to show that the deceased left his house early Monday morning to catch his horse, which had broken loose ;.that while chasing the animal ani-mal he had received a kickiu the region of the heart. Dr. S. Ewing examined the remains.-and remains.-and gave expert testimony, stating that the direct cause of death was the formation of a clot f blood in the heart, caused either by the exertions of the deceased in catching the horse or by the kick received from the animal ani-mal or both, and the jury brought in a verdict, ver-dict, to that effect .Mr. Sharp was well known and generally respected in this community, and his untimely un-timely taking off is deeply deplored. He was a member of the P. O. S. of A. and that order will have charge of the remains until alter the funeral. Dr. 8. Ewing and Messrs. Elliott and Stull are the committee in charge. The funeral will take place at the parlors of the Utah Undertaking company com-pany ou Thursday next at 2 p. m. |
