Above relief prayed for on the ground that defendant defen-dant did on tin- 28th duy of September. 18H1, in Sait Lake City, I tah, visit certain houses of ill-fame ill-fame and did become an inmate ot said houses iiid did commit adultery with some woman an in-mate in-mate of said house, whose name is unknown to pluintiS: that defendant has treated plaintiff in a cruel and inhuman manner by becoming violently enraged and Striking plaintiff on the temple, knocking her down, thereby stuning her for the time: plaintiff further alleges that said act of adultery and cruelty were committed without the c nse.it, conivance, procurement or previous knowledge of said plaintiff, and that as soon as she became cognizant of said act of adul'ery she refused to live or cohabitate with sakl defendant.
