It favors an honest ballot and a fair count; declares it essential to the continuance of tlic government that the tifteenth amendment should he enforced; denounces de-nounces the democratic party which maintained itself by violence and fraud; protests against the political intimidation intimi-dation and murders which have so long dis; graced she Mate: endorses the sugar bounty commends the administration of Hurrisoix recommcnds the delegates from this state to vote for tlit renomination of Harrison; denounces de-nounces b usts and monopolies, and opposes the Louisiana lottery and the revenue amendment and any scheme thai proposes to legalize gambling. The committee on nominations reported the following ticket: Governor, A. H. Loon, ard; lieutenant-governor, H. Dudley Colo. man; secretary of state, T. Voisin ; treasurer, G. B. Darrall; auditor, Charles A. Foutclieu; attorney-general, Judge John Yoist; super, inlcndeiii, public instruction, E. S. Stoddard.
