Show ITS TWENTY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY. St. Mark's School Has a Very Tleasant Anniversary Celebration. Twenty-live years ago yesterday St. Mark's school was founded, and last night j appropriate ceremonies in commemoration ! thereof were held. An ice cream banquet was indulged in, and was followed by a social hop. Bishop Tuttle of St. Louis and Rev. G. D. B. Miller sent letters of encouragement en-couragement which were well received, and a number of former pupils were also heard from. Mrs. J. H. Brown of the class of '81 read a paper containing the history of the school, which was most interesting. Rev. Mr. I'nsworih of irdeu delivered an address, ad-dress, as did Attorney Putnam and C. O. Whittemore. A quartette entertained the audience with some excellent music. |
