Show GOVERNOR'S PROCLAMATION t tah - Has Been Blessed With a Vear of Peace and Plenty. His Excellency Governor Arthur L. Thomas issued the following proclamation to the people of Utah at 3 o'clock this afternoon: after-noon: To the People of the Territory of Utah. We have enjoyed a year of peace and plenty. The ties which unite us to our neighbors of the surrounding surround-ing states and territories have been strengthened by social and business intercourse, and the yield of our agricultural, mining and other industries heve been most bountiful. I therefore respectfully recommend that on Thursday, November 36, 1891, the day designated by the President of the United Siates, in the usual places of worship thanks be given to Divine Providence who has blessed our lives and territory, terri-tory, and espebially recommend that the day be marked by a desire on the part of all to make brighter the homes of those who may need our eympathy and support. t In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused the great seal of the territory to be affixed.
