W, Mac key, the fanners' fann-ers' alliance judge of Harper couutv, for contempt of court. O. C. Hooker and J. I). N. Kadley, his couubullots, were made deiondnuts with him. It appeared to the court that Judge Maokey was acting under a misapprehension misappre-hension of the law. Judge Horton was very emphatio In his order,,' in which ho said:' "The case, will be continued until September, and if the orders of this court arc not obeyed, we will teach the people whether a district judge or a private individual, that the state of Kansas, through its court, receives re-ceives proper respeot and its orders a' proper observance. |
