Fully 4000 people were present and numerous encores made the vast auditorium resound with the praises of the participants. Tho contest was conducted under the auspices of the Young Wen's Mutual Improvement ansociatioa of Utah and was directed by Professor Stevens, whose name has become a synonym of merit "and a critcion of excellence.
