Kvery ward in the county bad representative present and most all of them rendered some part of the programme. Dinner was taken at the pavilion by the olliccrs and delegates from the county. Jn the afternoon the children were permitted to indulge in dancing cere-monies, which are not always held on itch occasions. The evetiiug will be pent in a dance for adults, to which all re invited. --t- On last Saturday the county teachers' association convened at the city hill. Superintendent J. S. Perry conducted the exercises. Another tract of land nearer the city has been purchased and men were set to work today on the new building. In ess than sixty days the electric railway will be in operation throughout the en-tire city and the long walking siege will be ended.
