Show ADDITIONAL MINING NEWS. Golilun Marj.valn. Two lots of Dslton ore were sold at tho Conklin Sampling works yesterday. Lot Xo. 2 assayed and w:is settled for on the basis of f 'COT. 50 a ton. Lot Xo. 3 sold for StiOa.M a ton. Stewart ami Hodges made the assays. Tho last lot was second class ore, and lot Xo. 1 of a mixture of lirst and second class. Both lots are so high grade that there is nothing noth-ing to be gained by separating them, but it goes to show that the mine is capable of producing the rich ore which it is reported to have. When Captain Smith of tho Bullion Beck was down, there he sampled the rich eighteen inch streak to get an average value of its contents. The assav of this was gotten out yesterday and it gave thu wonderful results of Lii lili ounces in silver and Hjo.ti'J ounces in gold, worth $7;ii().(3ll a ton. |
