Robertson of the Tleasant valley coal office last night in G. A. R. hall. Mr. Robertson was in attendance, on the Burns anniversary celebration and at its con-clusion was out a coat and a number of valuable papers. Ho is willing to suffer the loss of the garment if the thieves will return the papers. Pacs (Ion Frer. William Pace, who was arrested at Eureka for complicity in the Clawson robbery, was taken before Judge Ros-ier yesterday afternoon and pleaded not guilty. Mattie Jackson, who was fined $','5 and costs upon tho same charge, was relied on by the prosecu-tion but shielded Pace and he was dis-charged. Police Picking. There were three drunks in police court this morning each of whom paid $5 and costs. Walter Saville was run in Inst even-ing for fast driving and was notified to appear for trial this afternoon.
