New acquisitions to the business interests in-terests of our city are always solicited and appreciated and hailed with utmost delight whenever new of reliable arrivals greet our ears. For several years past Coloradoans have repeatedly demonstrated their faith in the future prosperity of I'tah and in its metropolis, Salt Lake City, most particularly. During recent years a large number of capitalists aud business men have come hither from Colorado and established themselves in enterprises of different kinds among us. The push and enterprise enter-prise of these people has done much towards to-wards the advancement and development develop-ment of our city. It seems very unlikely un-likely that a Denver business man should establish himself in our city unless he were confident that there is presented here equal or greater promise than in that famous Colorado city. There is oulv one thiug more gratifying to citizens of Salt Lake than the knowledge of her being one of the greatest business centers on the American Ameri-can continent, and that is to kuow that wide awake, pushing business men with means and ability are w illing to show their confidence in her future by establishing estab-lishing business enterprises amooe us. The most recent addition to the bti ness colony of ion is tbe Messrs. Per-ini Per-ini Bros., of Denver, Colo., who have opened a handsome branch store in the new Knutsford hotel building. These gentlemen aro natives of Switzerland, ..ud inherit from their raco those qualities for which the Swiss people are noted, namely: unbounded mechanical ingenuity and artistic skill. This branch establishment is to be in charge of Mr. Henry Perrin. the junior member of tbe linn. Many of the pro-duclious pro-duclious that they exhibit have been manufactured expressly for the Salt Lake trado and their assortment of cana, parasols umbrellas, glacies and gents line gloves are the finest and newest do-si2Us do-si2Us ever before shown to our people. The glove department of this firm should be given especial attention by the ladies of 'Salt Lake. Their hands will never appear more bew itehltitrly perfect than when they are gloved with a pair of these gentlemen's own manufacture. man-ufacture. A lady attendant of many years' experience ex-perience will be in constant attendance attend-ance for the purpose of fitting gloves to the hand and will give the patrons of tbe establishment the bene lit of her valuable experience. Today takes place the openiug of their new store and each and every lady attendant will be the recipient of a valuable souvenir in remembrance of the openiug of the new store. |
