Show AMUSEMENTS. MttU Lord Fauntlaroy Tonight "Littlo Lord Fauntleroy" in its dramatized dra-matized form will be tho attraction at the Salt Lake theater tonight and tomorrow to-morrow night, with a special matinee on Saturday. Who that reads fails to appreciate its tender pathos; its exquisite exquis-ite humor and its simplicity of character? char-acter? Who so young that cannot understand un-derstand it, and who so dead to all gentler Impulses that the purity of its sentiment will not quicken? If Mrs. Harnott bad not written another book her name would go down to posterity as the authoress of the most fascinating, simple and successful work that ever eamo from the press or was put upon the stage. There has been no play produced in years which appeals more directly to the heart of a parent or in which there is more human pathos than "Little Lord Fauntleroy." To three elements, the exquisite grace of the story, perfection in details and harmony in acting may be attributed the pheuominal success of the play. |
