Show Children mid Poultry. Let one of the children assume the care of the poultry yard if you have not the time to make it a feature of your fanning. Encourage him by selling him the fowl at a fair price, allowing him to pay for them in eggs, which you buy at the regular price, or which are sold and placed to his acconut. Get him to keep his own accounts; let him pay for the feed purchased by tho sale of eggs and chickens. The boy will be happier for the experiment, and he will gain habits of industry that will be valuable to him all his life. Hall's Journal of Health. |
