Show FATAL ACCIDENT AT THISTLE. An Employe of the B. G. W. Railroad Struck by an Engine and Death Remits. A fatal accident occurred at 7:05 this morning at Thistle, a station on the Rio Grapde Western railroad. , A. Bebring, a section hand, had just informed his boss that he would not work today and bad stepped on the track when he was struck by a switch engine. The man was hit with such force that his body was thrown upon a pile, of rails near by, His skull was crushed in a horrible horri-ble manner and he died about two hours afterwards. He was about 45 years of age and had been in the employ em-ploy of the company for a month or two. He came to this country from Iowa and nothing definite is known of his relatives or friends. , j |
