Show I Died at Hla Bench. A. Amot, an aged shoemaker of San-ford, San-ford, Fla,, formerly of Philadelphia, died at the former place on the 8th of June. E. H. Herndon, a merchant of Sanford, relates a curious fact in connection con-nection with Arnot's death. After the old shoemaker was taken ill his nurse could not keep him in bed. He would get up, in spite of all remonstrance, and fit on his shoemaker's bench. He said lie had sat there for thirty years, and it was the only place he could die in com- fort, and there, sitting on his bench, he . died.-New York World. |
