Kandall was held at the Arlington hotel to take appropriate action ac-tion on his death. The venerable cx-Uovernor cx-Uovernor Curtiu, of IV unsylvania, was selected as chairman. (iovcrnorCurlin, who was a life-long friend of Mr. Randall, Ran-dall, mado a most feeling address in calling the assemblage to order, and spoke oft ho deceased in terms of the tenderest endearment. A eoimnittee appointed reported resolutions selling forth the nation's loss in the death of Mr. Randall. Speeches Warm in sympathetic sym-pathetic feeling and eulogistic of Kan-dall"s Kan-dall"s high character, lofty ainliition. holiest purposes, pure and exalted manhood, man-hood, linn and courageous devotion to conviction, w ere made by Congressmen MeCreary of Kentucky, Blount of Georgia, Geor-gia, Rogers of Kansas, and Interstate.
