Show Mrs. President Harrlson'i Boudoir. One does not wonder that every mistress mis-tress of the White House chooses one or the other of the two oblong south rooms for her boudoir, for of all the private apartments they are the coziest and most 1 homelike. They are no longer than the bedroom in a three thousand dollar cottage cot-tage and could easily be stowed in one comer of tho state bedrooms. Mrs. Harrison Har-rison has the one at the southwest corner cor-ner and she has it charmingly fitted up. She lives in it more than in any other room, and has her desk, where she writes so many letters, there at the broad window. win-dow. The desk is of rosewood and much more business like than a lady's desk usually is. At mail time Mrs. Harrison sits there for an hour or two giving pergonal per-gonal attention to the scores of letters she receives. Near her is a small table containing con-taining pictures of her children and grandchildren, and down the length .of one side are tall wardrdfoea containing the dresses of the mistress of the White House.
