Show A New Food Product. Professor W. Rehnstroni, dairy instructor instruc-tor and agricultural engineer of Sweden, has invented a new food product which he calls lactoserin. Skim milk is curdled in the same way as commonly uatjd in cheese making, only that a larger quantity quan-tity of rennet is used and at a higher temperature, eo as to make the precipitation precipita-tion complete. To the whey thus obtained ob-tained is added an equal quantity of ekim milk, and the bulk, through a sim, pie process of evaporation, is transformed into solid cakes, which are afterwards cut or ground and more or less roasted to suit whatever purpose intended.
