Show Kaysville Choir I Leader Called by Death at age of 71 James A Cottrell a Kaysville resident since 1878 died at the Dee hospital l in Ogden Wednesday even even- evening evening ing ins following an operation Tues Tues- Tues Tues- Tuesday Tuesday da day He had been ill since Friday Mr 11 Cottrell had served two terms on the Kaysville City Council He had been a member of the Kaysville ward choir for over half a century and its leader for more than forty years The deceased was a plasterer by trade and had done much work in inthis in inthis inthis this county and Salt Lake City in his line He lie was a high priest He lie was born at Theale Berkshire England and was 71 years rears old on the of last February He lie emigrated to the United States a half a century ago locating in Kaysville where whore he has since resided resided resided ed with the exception of three years from 1894 to 1897 which which he spent in Alberta Canada In 1887 he married Edith La Layton ton who survives him thou though h she has been ill in bed since last June of heart trouble Sons and daughters living are Mrs Irs George L Blamires Harry J Cottrell Ralph L Cottrell and Carl B D Cottrell of Kaysville Mrs Lawrence Galley Gailey Salt Lake and Mrs William Knighton West Point There are twenty-four twenty grandchildren and the following brothers and sis sis sis- sis tres George Cottrell Long Beach California Charles Charit Cottrell Jr Salt Lake City Mrs W P Burton Robin Idaho Walter Waller Cottrell Kays Kays- Kaysville Kaysville ville Mrs bars Frank B Hall Han and Mrs l Law Lewis s J Bowers Salt Lake City Funeral services will be held at 2 p m Sunday in the Kaysville Tab Tab- Tabernacle Tabernacle Tabernacle 21 under the direction of B Bish- Bish Bishop Bish Bishop sh-I sh op Frank Hyde Interment will take place in the Kaysville cemetery |
