Show IN THE NEW BULLION CAMP battle dountain Boun tain nevadan an old time resident of sparks mr C W urley spent yesterday in this city meeting ng old acquaintances and friends having just returned from a prospecting expedition into the bullion district he reports having located six claims in the vicinity of the new mining camp mr hurley further states that there is a tremendous activity among mining men in that section at the present time due largely to a number of rich finds recently uncovered work has been concluded on different claims in the new camp tor for the past year but not until within the past three months has any development work ork been vigorously pushed at the present time a salt lake company operating with a number of men has a shaft sunk thirty feet or more and has uncovered a four foot ledge of gold bearing quartz averaging from six different assays essays per ton gold the ore resembles that taken from the famous bullfrog group P 0 anderson at a depth of twenty five feet has uncovered an eight foot ledge oi of free milling ore assays essays from the ore show shan it to be enormously rich it is said that this claim will be taken hold of at once by a company and a stamp mill built for the treatment of the ore on its own ground A stage line connects with the new camp making the run of twenty five miles from beowawe every other day but mr hurley states that should the present influx of mining men into the new camp continue it will be necessary to immediately arrange for more adequate transportation facilities tonopah and goldfield miners are being attracted to the new finds and it is a well known fact that a number of reno people have interests in that section and are lying aing low awaiting further developments |
