Show THE FORTUNA MINES press bingham utah superintendent rossberg has been making a thorough examination of the fortuna and in his report states that the general condition of the mine was never so good the drift on the mayflower level is in a distance of feet the entire distance being along the main fissure and in a continuous body of high grade milling ore the crosscut cross cut has been run for a distance of feet to the foot wall fifty feet of this crosscut cross cut is in exceptionally high grade milling ore the other feet is in ore of a lower grade but still good ore for a mill of proper dimensions all of this is the same class of rock as that found in the other big bingham properties A drift of feet in this body of ore shows the same conditions with the face of the raise showing fully three feet of high grade shipping ore seams of this high grade ore are quite general along the main fissuring the crosscut into the hanging wall shows strong of the same general character beginning of the crosscut cross cut with four per cent in the fact of the crosscut cross cut feet distant the entire workings are in a vast body of copper ore the values in which run high the bunk bunk house is nearing completion and will accommodate sixty five men since the installation of the air compressor the development work will proceed more rapidly and the company are satisfied that some sensational news will be given out in the near future 0 |
